Saint’s staying in Louisiana
July 14th, 2009 | by Mark Hooper |Saint’s fans from all over are breathing a big sigh of relief today with the Legislature easily pushing through regulation that will keep the Saints in town through 2025.

Although it was expected, Katrina and today’s economy had NFL Supporters nervous. Terms of the deal include the State leasing space from Saints’ owner Tom Benson. We are essentially giving him money without just handing it over, but however it needed to be done, all we should be concerned about is the Saints staying. Their loss would have been hard to calculate from more than just a sports point of view.
